REQUEST FOR BIDS
Sealed bids will be received for the construction of the Santa Clara-Ivins Rachel Fire Station A&R located at 2365 Rachel Drive, Santa Clara, Utah. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope by May 8, 2019 at 2:00 p.m., MST, to Santa Clara City, Purchasing Department, Attn: Ditzie Whitehead, 2603 Santa Clara Drive, Santa Clara, Utah 84765. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud in the City Council Chambers. Each sealed envelope containing a BID must be plainly marked on the outside SANTA CLARA – IVINS RACHEL STATION A&R.
There will be a pre-bid meeting site visit at 2365 Rachel Dr., Santa Clara, Utah on April 24, 2019 at 2:00 p.m., MST. Technical questions regarding the Bidding Documents shall be directed to Kim Campbell, Campbell & Associates Architects, (435) 628-5969.
The Bid includes the following: An addition and remodel with minor site modifications.
Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained from Campbell & Associates Architects, 46 North 200 East, St. George, Utah 84770. If you would like a copy of the Contract Documents, a CD can be provided at no charge. A printed set may be obtained for $150 (non-refundable) per set.
The 100% performance-labor and materials bond will be required on this project. Every BID shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid, naming the City of Santa Clara as oblige, this bid bond must be issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Utah and be on a bond form acceptable to Santa Clara City.
Santa Clara City reserves the right to reject any, or all bids, or to waive any formality or technicality in any bid, in the interest of the City.
