Sealed bids will be received for the construction of the Santa Clara Lava Flow Trail Project.  Bids must be submitted by Wednesday, February 12th, 2:00 PM MST, to the Santa Clara City offices, at 2603 Santa Clara Drive, Santa Clara, Utah, 84765.  Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud.  Each Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to Santa Clara City, Attn: Brad Hays, 2603 Santa Clara Drive, Santa Clara, Utah, 84765.  Each sealed envelope containing a Bid must be plainly marked on the outside Santa Clara Lava Flow Trail Project.

There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting on Monday, February 10th, 11:00 AM MST at the Santa Clara City Offices at 2603 Santa Clara Drive, Santa Clara, Utah.

The Bid includes furnishing all labor, materials, transportation, and services to construct approximately 2,615 linear feet of asphalt trail including installation of a pre-fabricated 60’ bridge; installation of approximately 1,455 lineal feet of 12” PVC irrigation line; and improvement of approximately 515 linear feet of roadway along Rachel Drive.

Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained at the offices of Rosenberg Associates on or after Wednesday, February 5th, at 352 East Riverside Drive, Suite A-2, St. George, Utah, 84790, for a non-refundable fee of $15 per set.  Make checks payable to Rosenberg Associates. All Bidders who submit a bid are required to purchase a set of the Contract Documents. A 100% performance, labor and materials bond will be required on this project.  Every Bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid, naming Santa Clara City as Owner.  Bonds must be issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Utah and be on a bond form acceptable to Santa Clara City.

Santa Clara City reserves the right to reject any, or all bids, or to waive any formality or technicality in any bid, in the interest of the Owner.
