Public Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Clara, Washington County, Utah, will hold a Planning Commission meeting in the City Council Chambers, 2603 Santa Clara Drive, Santa Clara, Utah, on Thursday, May 12, 2022, commencing at 5:30 PM. The meeting will be broadcasted via YouTube linked on our website at https://sccity.org/meetings.

The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

1. Consider a proposed Rezoning of property at 2620 Santa Clara Drive. The applicant, Steven Hafen, is proposing to rezone the property from the Historic District/Residential Zone to the Historic District/Mixed Use Zone to allow for a retail business use. The property is approximately 0.95 acres in size.

2. Consider a proposed Planned Development Commercial, PDC Zone Amendment and Project Site Plan. The applicant, Rick Schofield, is proposing to develop the site to include a 4,000 square foot retail building. The undeveloped property is located on the corner of Santa Clara Drive and Country Lane. The property is approximately 0.76 acres in size.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Santa Clara City Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing at 5:30 PM on Thursday, May 12, 2022, in the City Council Chambers, 2603 Santa Clara Drive, Santa Clara, Utah 84765.
The purpose of the Public Hearing is to receive public input on the following items:

1. Consider a proposed Rezoning of property at 2620 Santa Clara Drive. The applicant, Steven Hafen, is proposing to rezone the property from the Historic District/Residential Zone to the Historic District/Mixed Use Zone to allow for a retail business use. The property is approximately 0.95 acres in size.

2. Consider a proposed Planned Development Commercial, PDC Zone Amendment and Project Site Plan. The applicant, Rick Schofield, is proposing to develop the site to include a 4,000 square foot retail building. The undeveloped property is located on the corner of Santa Clara Drive and Country Lane. The property is approximately 0.76 acres in size.

Citizens of Santa Clara are encouraged to attend the meeting where they will be given the opportunity to express any concerns they may have with the proposed action. In compliance with the American with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary Communicative aids and services) during this hearing should notify the City Recorder, Chris Shelley at 673-6712, ext. 203 at least 24 hours prior to the hearing.
