PUBLIC NOTICE – Santa Clara Truman Drive Landslide Project

PUBLIC NOTICE

Sealed bids will be received for the construction of the Santa Clara Truman Drive Landslide Project (PDMC-PJ-08-UT-2015-010). Bids must be submitted by Monday, September 9th, 2:00 PM MDT, to the Santa Clara City offices, at 2603 Santa Clara Drive, Santa Clara, Utah, 84765. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. Each Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to Santa Clara City, Attn: Jack Taylor, Public Works Director, 2603 Santa Clara Drive, Santa Clara, Utah, 84765. Each sealed envelope containing a Bid must be plainly marked on the outside Santa Clara Truman Drive Landslide Project (PDMC-PJ-08-UT-2015-010).
There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting on Wednesday, September 4th, 9:00 AM MDT at the Santa Clara City Offices at 2603 Santa Clara Drive, Santa Clara, Utah.
The Bid includes furnishing all labor, materials, transportation, and services to excavate and transport approximately 8,550 cubic yards of earth material from the Truman Landslide area to the disposal site in Canyon View Park.
Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained at the offices of Rosenberg Associates on or after Monday, August 26th, at 352 East Riverside Drive, Suite A-2, St. George, Utah, 84790, for a non-refundable fee of $15 per set. Make checks payable to Rosenberg Associates. All Bidders who submit a bid are required to purchase a set of the Contract Documents. Technical questions regarding the Project shall be directed to Jared Bates, PE, Project Engineer, Rosenberg Associates, 352 East Riverside Drive, Suite A-2, St. George, Utah, 84790, (435) 673-8586 jaredb@racivil.com.
A 100% performance, labor and materials bond will be required on this project. Every Bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid, naming Santa Clara City as Owner. Bonds must be issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Utah and be on a bond form acceptable to Santa Clara City.
Santa Clara City reserves the right to reject any, or all bids, or to waive any formality or technicality in any bid, in the interest of the Owner.
